The terrorism that we need to be fighting against is not in the middle east, but right here at home. Though it's true that over 4000
Americans have lost their lives in Iraq since we invaded it on March 19th of 2003, it is estimated that thousands of Americans are
murdered by illegal aliens here in the United States every year. In addition, willful negligence of our federal government,
dismantling procedures that screened out dangerous aliens masquerading as students and tourists, lead to the murder of over
3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001.
If the United States military can understand that the security in Iraq depends largely on the ability to protect its borders against
insurgents and terrorists, then why aren't we also protecting our own borders here? Illegal immigration is by no means a victimless crime!
In order for one to obtain a visa and be here legally requires a background check and a medical exam. Because illegal aliens receive
neither of these, there is no way of knowing if they have a criminal record, nor is there any way to determine whether or not one carries
a transmittable disease.
To begin with, illegal aliens disrespect our laws by breaking into the United States without going through proper channels. How likely do you think it is
that they would start obeying the law once they are here? The reason they abuse our laws is because our governments refuse to enforce them. Our
governments knowingly allow these people to continue piling in here, while they ignore laws, and make no effort to assimilate. Our federal government
continuously tells us that our immigration system is broken. What's broken is the government, refusing to enforce our laws! Why is this? Might
they be intentionally debilitating us, so that the federal government has more power over society? Why won't they enforce our laws? Whether our system
is broken or not, laws are no good anyway if you're not going to enforce them. And the so-called war on terror goes on in the middle-east...
coincidentally where the oil is. President James Madison warned us "If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting
a foreign enemy".
